Merenda à Papeleiro - Museu do Papel Terras de Santa Maria

Merenda à Papeleiro, is an annual activity, which takes place on the Sunday following Easter Sunday. It is an activity aimed at former workers and owners of paper, card and bag factories.

This activity begins with a visit to the museum, where the papermaking community actively participates in the manufacturing process of brown paper and cartridges; followed by moments of dancing and singing that culminate in the sharing of a snack.

The realization of the Merenda à Papeleiro reinforces the existing ties between the paper community and the museum, promoting, in an atmosphere of relaxation and conviviality, the memory, sharing and collecting of stories and moments related to the manufacture of paper, technical and mechanical means, both in its human part and in the development of an entire region.
