Reenactment of Traditional Desfolhada

Desfolhada means to remove the leaves from the corn. Recalling the farmers of Terras de Santa Maria, this event aims to recreate the traditional desfolhada, where people gathered around the threshing floor, normally at night, to defoliate the corn in full conviviality, not missing popular food and drinks, songs and dances.
