Medieval Gastronomy
The Medieval Journey in the Land of Santa Maria through recognized professionals and associative fabric, annually recreates unique experiences of a Frontier Land, where flavours and medieval gastronomic creativity are synonymous with authenticity and cultural enjoyment.
The Medieval Journey fulfils a didactic and playful-pedagogical function, and a recreation of medieval gastronomy. It is a collaborative project par excellence, involving the City Council, companies, cultural and sports associations, national and international artists, citizens of the municipality and volunteers. It requires a true exercise of research and creativity for citizens, chefs and local associations to present products with medieval ingredients, that satisfy the palate of the 21st Century tourists.
