Art and Public Space

Imaginarius Creation Center – Art and Public Space – is a facility for artistic support with the aim to strengthen local and regional creative ecosystem, fostering cultural, educational, social, economic and touristic development.

ICC is a workplace for artistic creation, strongly committed with art residencies. Besides this place, ICC has two complementary spaces: Cinetheatre António Lamoso (the municipality theatre and concert venue).

The Imaginarius Creation Center runs three intervention domains: Artist residency Programme, Community Art Projects and Capacity Building and Internationalization.

Since 2020, Imaginarius Creation Center is also a space dedicated to GASTRONOMY experimentation and encourages critical thinking in the community, by promoting artistic residencies, namely for the discovery of the physicality of food, nutrition, concepts of healthy, sensory pleasure/displeasure.
